The NHLA Clean and Green committee is comprised of housekeeping and sustainability professionals from our industry. The committee meets quarterly and outlines relevant plans, activities and resources for membership. Today we are visiting the Venetian.
The Venetian Resort Sustainability Tour will take place today as we learn about our NHLA member’s award-winning Sustainability Program and comprehensive sustainability practices and initiatives.
Attendees will discover why these properties are an example of sustainable and exemplary social responsibility. Participants will learn how to make simple green choices in your everyday life to save natural resources and to live in a more environmentally friendly manner.
We will be exploring an exciting and interactive sustainability journey of the properties, making our way through areas focused on sustainable design, construction, energy and water conservation, renewable energy, waste management, sustainable procurement, green transportation, green meetings and events, internal & external engagement, and communications.
