Two amazing women, two amazing journeys

NHLA WIL has been invited by TISOH to attend an outstanding event on September 21 featuring guest speakers Laura Schwartz, former Director of Events for the White House and Susan Santiago, SVP for Global Select and Franchise Operations for Hyatt Hotels. These two amazing women will share their very different journeys to success.

In partnership with The International School of Hospitality, NHLA is pleased to extend the invitation to attend this phenomenal event to our Women in Lodging members.

Laura Schwartz, Former Director of Events for The White House

Laura Schwartz is the Former Director of Events for The White House. She served during the Clinton Administration. Her career path led her to becoming a television commentator, as well as guest host on Larry King. She is also a noted author and renowned speaker.

Susan Santiago, SVP of Global Select & Franchise Operations for Hyatt Hotels

Susan Santiago is the SVP of Global Select & Franchise Operations for Hyatt Hotels. She consistently has displayed determination, a strong work ethic and highly developed leadership principles. Her career path took her through numerous food and beverage positions all the way to General Manager positions and onto corporate leadership.

Lenny Talarico, Executive Director of Events with MGM Resorts Event Productions will moderate the event.

NEW: Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation

NHLA has formed a separate entity: The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation. The foundation is aligned with the goals and vision of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association. The mission is to grant scholarships for education, certifications and training programs to eligible persons seeking to enter or advance within the hospitality industry in Nevada.
