The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association is featuring a member and family event in Reno on June 24. The Reno Aces baseball team will be playing the Las Vegas 51s at the Reno stadium.
Aces at the Reno Stadium
The Northern Nevada NHLA council members suggested a summer outing whereas members, family and guests can attend. As the baseball games are so popular and the stadium is state-of-the-art, it was decided this would be a great networking and enjoyable (non-working) event.
Attendees should arrive by 6:00 p.m. to pick up their pre-purchased tickets and meet up with other members. Everyone will sit in a general area together. The tickets are discounted so purchase now.
Learn about the Reno Aces
The Reno Aces maintain their own blog, The Aceball blog, where stats and updates are posted regularly. Information about the baseball players can also be found on the website.
Youth summer camps are offered through the season with the next one beginning in June at the Aces Baseball Camp.
Early summer months in Reno are mild, comfortable and fun. Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains, clear skies and temperatures generally below the triple digit mark, nighttime events are popular. After the game, check out the breweries, festivals, and downtown activities. There is always something going on in Northern Nevada in the summer.
