Yes, we are into the middle of the year now and beginning Q3. Q3 committee meetings will be held throughout the month. Did you know NHLA has several committees? These include sustainability, security, education, housekeeping and government affairs. Join a committee, meet new people, get involved and help lead the hotel industry.
We have a Women in Lodging council, along with WIL mentor program and philanthropy committees. These members provide a wealth of knowledge and experience for our 170+ Women in Lodging members. We also support Dress for Success in SNV and NNV as well as The Shade Tree. Many volunteer opportunities are available to help women in our communities.
Northern Nevada council members lead the way
NHLA has a Northern Nevada council comprised of leaders in that region. Their expertise guides us in ensuring we are providing relevant resources and representation for NNV.
Q3 events hosted by NRG
The Next Reigning Generation (NRG) is comprised of young professionals rising through the ranks in their careers. Participating in NRG gives these young leaders the opportunity for professional development, career enhancement and building a strong network. NRG is led by a council of young NHLA professionals. NRG provides support for Project 150, an organization that assists homeless high school students in Las Vegas.
