NHLA endeavors to identify and reward the best and brightest in the hospitality industry. We are pleased to provide two NRG scholarships for two members meeting the qualification requirements.

The NRG Scholarship awards are sponsored by the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association. The scholarships are open to NRG members pursuing a career objective in the hospitality industry. The scholarship funding may be applied to relevant areas.

Areas in hospitality may include:

Hotel Management
Housekeeping
Facilities
Food and Beverage
Front Office Services
Valet and Bell Service
Sales/Marketing
Digital Marketing
Convention, Conference and Meeting Planning
Training and Development
Human Resources

NRG scholarships can be applied in the following areas:

Hospitality certifications
Hospitality related courses (in class or online) at any post-secondary, accredited institution
Hospitality travel conferences
Hospitality organization workshops and seminars

NRG scholarship eligibility

Must be a member of NRG for at least 6 months.

Must attend a minimum of two NRG events per year

Must volunteer for a minimum of one NRG philanthropic event.

Must be willing to present personal experience in NRG at a future event.

Digital photo/head shot in jpeg or png for use in publicity

The 2017 NRG Scholarships will be awarded at the NHLA NRG event in December for use in 2018. Apply for a scholarship.
