Irving Pamblanco has been with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association for over 26 years. He is the VP of Finance and Operations and oversees all of the financial tasks, requirements, banking and document preparation. He manages the complete database and information system, as well.
Irving also handles the IT operations for the association including all systems, interfaces, member broadcasts, equipment and website updates.
Irving implements new database
This past summer Irving was solely responsible for converting the antiquated back office system used for many years into the brand new database application. In addition to all of the administrative features, the new application allows for members to book and pay for events online. It also gives members individual access to update their profiles, descriptions and make special offers. This was a tedious, technical project with Irving spending weeks handling.
What people say about Irving
Co-worker Diane Gandy states, “I have known Irving for over 20 years. I refer to him as ‘the voice of reason’ as he is always calm, cool, and collected. He never loses control, never gets angry, and is one of the most dedicated and devoted individuals I have ever met. NHLA is so fortunate to have him on the team.”

Lynn Mitchell, NHLA Chairman of the Board, states, “Irving is a consummate professional and takes his responsibilities of managing the association’s finances seriously.”
“Irving has been so helpful to me during the past 6 months. He is THE historian for the Association and has forgotten more about the association then I could ever know. Irving has a gigantic heart and is one of those genuine ‘good guys’ which is rare today,” says Brennan Blednick, NHLA President.
Meet Irving at events
If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Irving, he attends and assists with every NHLA event so say “hi” at the next seminar in January.
