Fascinating February at NHLA

And here we are moving into February…2020 is fabulous!  Check out what February at NHLA looks like and join in the fun.

We start off with the NNV council meeting on February 5 in the form of a conference call for Q1.  Leaders in the Northern Nevada region help to guide the association in providing relevant resources and activities.

Aria Patisserie

Jump to a tasty event booked for Feb. 7.  A fundraiser for the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation, the Tour of Aria Patisserie and Valentine Heart creation starts at 5:30 p.m.  Each participant will see how the pros create unbelievable intricate and delicious pastries and chocolates.  Following that “wow” experience, everyone gets to make their own Valentine hearts.  What a fun treat!  Will we see you there?

Rafael Villanueva

NHLA member, Cosmopolitan, will host the Q1 member social on February 11 featuring guest presenter Rafael Villanueva, Sr. Director of International Travel for LVCVA.  Rafael is a favorite each year as he talks about plans for the upcoming year for Las Vegas.  Sign up.

The new NHLA Read to Lead book club, open to all members, kicks off on February 20 at the brand-new design lab at TISOH.  This event has 30 people registered…good size book club!

Emerging Leaders February at NHLA

The Emerging Leaders winter mentor session starts Feb. 25.  We still have a few openings for any of our young professionals who would like to learn more from the pros about the industry or a specific department.  Mentors, we always need your expertise and participation.  Sign up as a mentee or mentor for this fast-paced, fun program.

NHLA Vendor Showcase

Vendors…here is your chance to meet some industry leaders.  Our annual vendor showcase will take place at the Orleans on February 27.  Vendor table space is available to show off products and services.  A raffle will be held in the morning.  Keynote speaker is Danielle Yank from R E Q.  She is an expert in online branding, social media and marketing.  Danielle will talk about 2020 trends and important tips to know.  Jenna Dosch Photography will provide complimentary professional head shots at the conclusion.  Great time to update your professional photo.  Be there.
