Fall brings renewal, education and ambition for NHLA members

The scorching days of summer are almost behind us as we welcome fall in our Nevada communities.  When the hot, heavy air is gone there is a renewal that can be felt.  A time for change, new ambitions and a desire to finish out the year with a big accomplishment.

Education is high on everyone’s agendas, particularly in the fall.  School is back in session.  Many people ponder what their next step is going to be on the road of success.  If going back to school is not of interest, consider a high-level career diploma or certification.

Exec Diploma

NHLA member, The International School of Hospitality (TISOH), offers accredited, fast-paced opportunities for career education advancement.  The new Executive Diploma in Hospitality Operations is a unique program designed to meet the needs, and help fulfill the ambitions, of today’s hospitality employees.  TISOH offers this 7month, part-time program to any industry professional with two or more years of supervisory hospitality experience (or an Associate’s degree and above). Modeled after an Executive MBA, but without the requirement of a bachelor’s degree for entry, the curriculum is focused heavily on honing the participant’s leadership and management skills in human resources, sales and marketing, and revenue management and analysis.  NHLA members may be eligible for a discount or may have tuition reimbursement available through their employers for this program.

Dale Carnegie Fall class

Dale Carnegie, another active NHLA member, offers special workshops, programs and certification programs, as well. Leadership, public speaking and customer service classes are readily available in person or online. The team at DC have customized programs for NHLA members, ask them what they can do for your company.  Learn more.
