An NHLA survey was sent in July to our members with several pertinent questions. The team reviews each response and takes into consideration any suggestions. It is through membership feedback and participation that we are able to continue to enhance our benefits and resources.
One of the questions pertained to what communication channels were of interest to our members.
The top 5 NHLA survey responses were:
- The website, nvhotels.com
- Hospitality Headliner
- NHLA LinkedIn
- NHLA Facebook
- Master Key Blog
The NHLA website is the hub of the association. All activities, resources, and information is found on the website. The most visited page is the event calendar where members can register for events and activities.

The Hospitality Headliner is published in-house every other Thursday and features member news, NHLA events, new members, industry alerts and other important information.

NHLA has a LinkedIn page where updates are posted regularly.

Facebook is a popular page for NHLA where images from events and activities are posted, member news and other fun posts.
The Master Key blog is published in-house every Tuesday with a different topic of interest each week. Member guest bloggers may submit an article via the website for consideration.

Other communication channels include NRG Facebook, Women in Lodging Facebook, Women in Lodging LinkedIn and NHLA YouTube channel. We send direct mail communications to our distribution list mostly for upcoming event notification, as well.
