Welcome new NNV Council member

  NHLA welcomes Christopher Lynch to the NHLA NNV Council. Christopher is the Director of the Business Environmental Program at College of Business at UNR. He serves on the NHLA Clean and Green committee, as well. We look forward to having Christopher's ideas and guidance in helping NHLA to provide valuable and relevant programs and resources for our NNV members.


CGSP workshop and exam scheduled in Reno

  The NHLA NNV Certified Guest Service Professional designation workshop and exam is scheduled for September 27 at the Atlantis Resort Casino in Reno. Anthony Lai will lead the class and administer the exam. We just have a few spots remaining. Sign up to achieve this impressive industry designation. NHLA Behind the Scenes tour

  Our September Behind the Scenes member tour is scheduled at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on September 29. We will enjoy a guided tour through one of the most popular resorts in Las Vegas. Capacity is limited so register soon.


2022 Federal per diem rates to remain the same

  The General Services Administration (GSA) announced the FY2022 federal per diem rates for government travel in the Continental United States will be at FY2021 levels, which are based on pre-COVID-19 rates. The FY22 CONUS per diem rate is $151, which includes $96 for lodging and $55 for meals. Read full information.


SNV CGSP class full

  The SNV CGSP in person workshop and exam scheduled for September 16 at The International School of Hospitality is now at full capacity. We look forward to seeing these participants pass the exam and become Certified Guest Service Professionals. We wish everyone the best of luck!
