NHLA Emerging Leaders Mentor Program underway

  We have 42 participants in the Emerging Leaders winter mentor program. A big thank you to Anthony Lai for overseeing this program and doing a fantastic opening presentation for everyone last week. Special appreciation is extended to our mentors for taking the time to work with our mentees; your experience and expertise is so valuable as our young professionals build their careers. NHLA appoints new executive board member

  NHLA officers have appointed Andy Meese, Vice President of Hospitality at Mandalay Bay, Delano and Luxor to the executive board of directors. Andy has extensive industry experience and knowledge. The executive board is comprised of the association's officers and four directors who oversee overall board actions, including financial and operational decisions.

Volan Technology presents Smart Meetings

Industry Education for Career Stability

  As our world and industry is in continuous change mode more than ever now, it is essential for career-minded individuals to have the new skills and education needed to attract and retain good jobs as well as advance in the industry. Join us on February 24 as we host a panel of professionals from our industry as well as partner educational entities as they share their insights and guidance for succeeding in a very challenged industry today.


Certified Guest Service Professional Class and Exam scheduled

  A Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) virtual class and exam will be offered to NHLA members on March 3. The certification is the highest designation in guest service offered by AHLAEI. Our instructor, Anthony Lai, Student Affairs Program Manager with TISOH, will present the class and administer the online exam. Register now.
