SNHD provides updated SB4 guidance

  The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) is providing industry guidance to clarify requirements, and address industry concerns, of SB 4 Section 11 for bed linens and daily room cleaning, and Section 13 for employee testing in Clark County, NV. Understanding generational differences

  The final segment of the NHLA Diversity Training series will focus on understanding the many generational differences in the workplace. NHLA has openings on the Clean and Green committee

  If you are interested in topics and activities related to housekeeping and/or sustainability, join the Clean and Green committee. The Clean and Green committee promotes best practices in housekeeping and sustainability, efficiency, communication, education and environmental practices in today's hospitality industry. Focus is on best operational practices to reduce costs while increasing guest satisfaction. The committee assists in coordination of seminars and the annual related conference. The committee is led by co-chairs Andy Ginsburg, Director of Environmental Services, Bellagio and Kevin Holloway, Executive Director of Housekeeping, Aria Resort. Note for our members: NHLA has received many requests for in-person events again. We understand and miss everyone and our events very much, too! In the best interest of our members' safety and wellness, we are going to continue to offer virtual (Zoom) events for the rest of 2020 (with the exception of the 5Ks and Golf). We will evaluate the current status for Q1 in January and move in the safest direction advisable at that time.
