Stars of the Industry 2020 is happening!

  While we cannot have our usual extravagant gala, we are not giving up on SOTI this year! It is so important to recognize the super stars in our industry who are dedicated, courageous and diligent in providing exemplary service. We will have a virtual event. Nominations are open for select categories and will be accepted until November 2. Recipients will be announced November 20 and we will be recognizing and honoring each recipient with an award and nominees as well as recipients will be posted in our social as well as the digital program. Bars and taverns allowed to reopen

  COVID-19 Mitigation and Management Task Force approved Clark County and Elko County plans to reopen bars as of the past Sunday due to improved data and mitigation efforts. Read more.

NHLA presents Enhancing Diversity Programs and Skills in the Workplace

Let's play golf and win the tourney!

  NHLA has created a unique yet fun fall golf tournament for members and guests. It will be held at TPC in Summerlin. The tournament will be in effect October 9-31. Members and guests can play a round of golf at their convenience, date and time. A fantastic special rate of $99.00 per person is offered. The course will retain the score cards until after the end of the month and report the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners to NHLA at the conclusion. The winners will receive trophies and be recognized in our social channels. Get out and have a great time in the fall weather...maybe you will win the tourney! Sign up.

Read to Lead book club starts September 29

  Our leadership book club will take place beginning September 29. Join us as we kick off our first virtual session. We will be reading The Power of Moments: Why Certain Experiences Have Extraordinary Impact. Lynn Gray will host this session and we will have a mid-session call on October 13 and our final session on October 27. Participation is completely relaxed, voluntary and fun. Join us.

Certified Guest Service Professional class is now sold out

  Our upcoming CGSP class is sold out. We wish all participants the best of luck in achieving this prestigious designation by successfully completing the exam. Halloween fun: Run!

  Our virtual 5K for October is Halloween themed. Run in costume and send us pictures when you finish your 5K to post in our social channels. Run independently, have friends or family join you on your chosen route or run it in the comfort of your own home on exercise equipment. Proceeds benefit the educational fund. Sign up.
