  May 4 the NV Div. of Industrial Relations issued the following letter encouraging NV businesses to update their Written Safety Program (along with other suggestions) in preparation for the state’s re-opening.   The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) recently launched "Safe Stay", an initiative focused on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace protocols to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations presented by COVID-19. Learn more.

Employee Retention Credit under the CARES Act

  The Employee Retention Credit under the CARES Act encourages businesses to keep employees on their payroll. The refundable tax credit is 50% of up to $10,000 in wages paid by an eligible employer whose business has been financially impacted by COVID-19. Read more.
