OSHA updates for businesses

  On May 8th, 2020 the Governor of Nevada announced the release of Declaration of Emergency Directive #018, which initiates the re-opening of non-essential business within Nevada by a "phased-in" process. OSHA requirements are outlined here.

Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation offering course scholarships

  The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation is offering one scholarship per week for NHLA members through May 31 for a course of the recipient's choice from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. Please submit your scholarship application. Applications must be submitted by each Monday by 5:00 p.m. The recipient for that week will be notified by Friday with details to redeem the scholarship. All scholarships must be redeemed prior to June 30, 2020.

NHLA Member conducting COVID-19 survey

  Experience Strategy Associates is conducting an independent survey on employee satisfaction and perceptions through the COVID-19 pandemic. ESA is looking for participants to take the completely anonymous hospitality employee survey so the results can be shared with the industry at large, equipping the community with a strong return. Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation logo contest

  The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation is looking for a new logo! ( The foundation was launched late last year for the purpose of providing scholarships to members of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association. We are currently using a temporary logo. We are hosting a contest now through May 31, 2020, for logo submissions. We know we have a lot of creative people in our membership. Can you come up with a logo that represents the NV hotel industry and scholarships?
