  The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association food and beverage committee is hosting a fundraiser for our scholarship foundation on June 27 at Tahiti Village. NRG hosts wine tasting and public speaking presentation

  On June 25, the Next Reigning Generation (NHLA young professionals division) will meet at the Vegas Valley Winery for wine tasting and a special presentation by Monique Makhlouf, Director of Learning and Development for Soleil Management. Monique has extensive experience in teaching public speaking techniques, particularly how to overcome the associated fears. Don't miss this fun and informative event.

Rock, roll and bowl!

  NHLA will present the annual member bowling tournament on July 25 at the Orleans. This year’s theme, back by popular demand, is 80s. Prizes for best costumes, top bowling team, and highest scoring bowler will be awarded along with a raffle drawing for fabulous prizes. The bowling tourney proceeds will benefit the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation scholarship fund. Don’t miss this highly anticipated event! Register.

NRG mentor program underway

  The summer session of the NRG mentor program began on June 5 with 30 participants. NRG members are paired with industry leaders for a fast-paced six-week session. This program provides the opportunity for young professionals to spend time with experienced leaders. The advice and guidance provided by our executives has great value for the mentees as they grow in their careers. The program will conclude with a meeting on July 10 at the Palazzo Prestige Lounge. Women in Lodging mentor program starts July 16

  The Women in Lodging members have the opportunity to participate in our summer mentor session. Mentees are paired with female leaders in the industry who share their experiences, challenges and guidance for women looking to expand their careers and knowledge. Sign up now.
